Washington DC Auto Show Zooms Into Town

The Washington Auto Show marks a new era for Washington, DC’s largest public show. DC Auto Show With its doubled time frame, from five days to ten days, it’s an even bigger bonanza for area residents to enjoy the fully stocked, two-story convention center with an automotive showcase many describe as “new-car heaven.” This huge event displays more than 700 new makes and models of cars, trucks, mini-vans and sport utility vehicles from over 42 domestic and import automakers and will entice, educate and entertain hundreds of thousands of consumers. Learn about developments in hydrogen, clean diesel, electric, biofuel and natural gas technologies as well as in safety. Be on the lookout for several cars that will be revealed at this year’s show! Visitors will also find free car giveaways, special guests, promotional contests, children’s activities and live entertainment.

Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (closing at 6 p.m. on Feb. 1)

Parking is limited in the area. The best way to get to the Convention Center is by Metro. The closest Metro station is Mt. Vernon Place/Convention Center.

Special Features

Tuesday, January 27, 2015. FREE tickets will be available to all active-duty military and veterans who present a valid military ID, retired ID, VA ID or DD214 and photo ID. The day will culminate with a performance by the 257th Army Band, The Band of the Nation’s Capital. The American Red Cross will have a display featuring volunteers and one of its disaster response vehicles. Also in attendance will be volunteer members of the Rebel Legion, 501st Legion, and Mandalorian Mercs, a Star Wars costume club, who will portray characters from Star Wars.
